Request crawl space help
If water is pouring into the crawl space or a floor feels unsafe, call. For musty smells, vapor barriers, dehumidifiers and wood report findings, send a request and a local company will call you back.
Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address and town, so a company that serves that part of Spartanburg County gets your request
- What you're noticing: musty smell, damp insulation, sweating ducts, standing water, soft wood or sagging floors
- Whether the crawl space is vented or already sealed, if you know
- Any CL-100 wood infestation report or home inspection notes about the crawl space
- If you're buying or selling, your closing or due diligence deadline
Water under the house after a storm? Don't crawl into a wet crawl space while power to equipment down there is on, and stay out if you see sagging beams, broken piers or damaged wiring.
